Dear BST Members,

One of our Society’s key outputs this year (2023) is the BST Strategic Plan for the next 5 years (2023 - 2028).

This strategic plan was developed by the Executive Committee based on inputs from BST members gathered earlier this year through a questionnaire about the BST Pillars of Excellence. The responses to the questionnaire were used in combination with the BST Executive Committee's experiences and various other sources of information to compile and finalise the Strategic Plan.

 

The content of the Strategic Plan is as follows:

1.  An Introduction to BST

• BST initiatives and programs
• Key stakeholders and target beneficiaries of BST

2.  Situation Analysis

3.  Strategic Framework: Core Values, Vision, Mission, Goal and Objectives

4.  BST Themes: What major strategic themes will the Society pursue to achieve its goals?

• BST conducive policy environment
• Members’ satisfaction and delight
• Service quality improvement

5.  Situation Analysis

6.  Governance and Operations of BST

• Management & governance structure
• Resources for the SP implementation

7.  Implementation Plan

• Partnerships and collaborations
• Communications and advocacy
• Monitoring and evaluation

8.  Conclusions

 

The BST' Strategic Plan will be tabled for approval at the upcoming BST's Annual General Assembly (AGA) on December 7, 2023. Please go through it in advance to facilitate effective discussions. It is embedded below.
